Telecom operator Airtel has partnered with the US-based AI startup Perplexity.
This partnership brings good news to Airtel users as it offers Perplexity Pro annual subscription at no cost to all its consumers.
Perplexity free version is available for consumers but provides limited features. However, the pro version, which costs around Rs. 17000 for a year, with enhanced capabilities is suitable for professional and heavy users states the company.
Perplexity is an AI assistant that assists you with your work, like OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Google’s Gemini. With around 360 million consumer bases (Mobile, Wi-Fi and DTH) with this partnership, all of them will be entitled to get the perplexity pro benefits free.

How Airtel Users can avail perplexity pro for free?
- Log in to the Airtel Thanks App
- Scroll down to find the “subscription” section and click “claim now” button appearing against Perplexity pro
- You will be directed to new page. Click on “claim now” under perplexity pro
- Click on proceed, fill in an email ID
- Upon filling in the email ID, you will be prompted to enter the OTP received on the ID
- Once the OTP is filled, the services will be activated and you will be able to use it on the web, as well as on the perplexity App.
